Youth Summer 2024 Camp (In Person)
When: Three Chess Camps to Choose From:
- June 17th/18th/20th/21st (Monday thru Friday) OFF Thursday June 19th
- July 29th/30/31 August 1st(Monday thru Thursday)
- August 5/6/7/8 (Monday thru Thursday)
Time: (10 AM—NOON)
Cost: $135 per student.
Location: The Kansas City Chess Club 4420 Chouteau Trafficway, Suite G2 Kansas City, MO 64117
Camp Agenda:
• Designed to introduce youth to chess strategy and tactics while having fun.
• The Kansas City Chess Club Coaches will show beginners through advanced students how to improve their play.
• Daily activities will include casual play, chess lessons and training exercises, National Rated competition games,
building Lego chess sets and chessboards, Bughouse and Fischer Random Chess, Pokémon, and Minecraft.
• Each student will receive a chess workbook, chess medal, and chess set.
• All levels are welcome!
